***OCWS Office Closing Early for Fiscal Year End***

  • Tuesday, September 30th: Office is closing at 11:30AM.
  • The online payment and phone payment services will be unavailable 9/30 beginning at 11:30AM and will resume when FYE processes are complete.
  • Offices will open with normal business hours on Wednesday, October 1.

 

Rate Increase Notice Effective October 1, 2025 

  • Effective 10/1/2025, Water and Sewer utility rates will increase by 5.5%. Click here for more detailed rate information.
  • Effective 10/1/2025, all Garbage rates will increase. Please call Waste Management for Garbage questions: Monday – Friday (850) 301-2822 Saturday (850) 275-0020.

Ways to Pay

There are no convenience fees added to online and phone payments.

Online payments may not show up on your OCWS account &/or bank account until next business day. Your confirmation number is proof of payment.

  • By phone 850-651-7171

  • Drop Box Locations

  • Payments made at non-County locations can take up to two weeks to be received.  Your account number must be listed on the payment and save your receipt for proof of payment.

  • If services are disrupted, we will not reinstate them until after the payment is received in our office.

New Service/Transfer/Cancel Service

The W&S Service Map is available to help you determine if OCWS is the service provider to your new address.  Feel free to contact Customer Service at 850-651-7171 if you are unsure if the location you are moving to is in our service area.

You can establish new service with OCWS by visiting our office or via mail, email, or fax (850) 651-7747. All completed requests for New Service received after 3pm are processed the following business day.

For same day service you will need to present all required and completed New Service documents in person by 3pm.

You will need the following for New Service:

1. Completed New Service/Transfer Form (pdf). Please remember to sign, date and initial where required on this form.  You may need to save and open the form in Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to use the Electronic Signature feature.

All new utility services will automatically be set-up as an electronic bill unless you opt-out and request a paper bill. Additionally, if a paper bill is returned as undeliverable, the account will automatically be updated to an electronic bill on the account.

2. A copy of your lease if you are renting.

3. A valid Government issued photo ID (i.e. U.S. Driver’s License, State Issued ID, Passport, Military ID, etc...)

4. The Deposit and $30 Service Fee will be billed to you.  The average residential deposit is usually $50, but this fee may differ for each customer depending on the meter size or other circumstances.

You can transfer service from your existing OCWS location to a new OCWS location at our office or via mail, email, or fax (850) 651-7747.  All completed requests received after 3pm are processed the following business day.

You can schedule to discontinue services with OCWS up to 2 weeks before the disconnect date via phone, at our officeemail, or fax (850) 651-7747.

We will need the following information to Discontinue Service:

1. Service Address or Account Number

2. Date you want the water to go off

3. Forwarding address

Deposits are applied to the final bill.  If there is a credit balance, a check from the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will be mailed to the address on file.
