Changes to Final Plats
Please be advised that Senate Bill 784 was signed by Governor DeSantis on June 26, 2025 which requires the administrative approval of plats and replats as opposed to Board of County Commissioners approval. Starting July 1, 2025, all plats and replats shall include the following signatory line; which replaces the current Board of County Commissioners signatures:

To determine if your proposed construction/alteration project requires notice to the (Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as described in 14 CFR 77: Please visit the OE/AAA Web Portal. The OE/AAA Web Portal contains information and tools that help applicable construction/alteration projects to determine applicability, meet federally required reporting requirements, easily notify the FAA of their intent, or to request an Aeronautical Study from FAA.

- Implementing the Board's policies and objectives through review of applications for development and building permits.
- Ensuring orderly growth and development.
- Providing inspections and oversight to the building industry and providing code enforcement.
- Administering the Community Development Block Grant Program and other State and Federal grant programs.
